Khalil Center visits Square Inc. to discuss the importance of mental health care during the pandemic

Khalil Center therapist, Jabir Tarin from the Bay Area, visited Square Inc. for a presentation and discussion on the importance of mental health care amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Jabir is a seasoned therapist specialized in working with Muslim Americans and diverse populations and has been with Khalil Center since 2015.  Jabir’s 30-minute presentation focused on the elements of trauma, social justice, and isolation, which are impacting many on a daily basis. After his 30-minute talk, an open discussion was facilitated on self-care and other key elements of mental wellbeing during this difficult time.
