BIO

Yusra is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist providing telehealth services across California. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine, and her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. She also holds a certificate in Islamic Sciences from Ibn Haldun University and Al-Madina Institute, which informs her holistic and values-based approach to healing.

Yusra believes that every person has an innate capacity to heal, though life’s challenges—such as trauma, depression, or anxiety—can sometimes obscure that inner strength. She views therapy as a space for rediscovery, where clients can reconnect with themselves, process difficulties, and find new pathways toward growth and wholeness.

Her therapeutic approach is holistic, recognizing that true healing involves the mind, heart, body, and soul. She meets clients where they are, tailoring therapy to their unique needs and pace. Yusra integrates evidence-based practices—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy—with a compassionate and client-centered lens. She creates a supportive environment where clients can explore difficult emotions, navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, and strengthen their sense of self. She is especially passionate about helping individuals deepen their spiritual and personal development, and views therapy as both a path toward relief and an opportunity for growth, meaning, and wholeness.
