Nora is a practicum student at the Khalil Center, where she is completing her therapy internship in a clinical and academic role. She earned dual master's degrees in clinical psychology and clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University and has over three years of experience providing mental health services in diverse settings.


She completed an internship at Nia Integrative Healing, where she received training in psychological assessment and testing. In addition to her current role at the Khalil Center, she is licensed in Illinois as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). In her therapeutic work, Nora integrates Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailoring her approach to each person’s goals and values.


In her practice, Nora firmly believes in the importance of providing individuals and families with the time and space to be truly seen and heard. She offers a nurturing, collaborative environment where children, adults, and families can explore their goals, strengthen relationships, and enhance their lives. Nora prioritizes creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel supported and respected. Together, she works with clients to recognize strengths, foster motivation, and build meaningful connections both within and beyond therapy. Her areas of focus include supporting individuals navigating anxiety, social anxiety, and identity or self-concept development.

Nora provides individual, family, and group therapy, offering culturally responsive, evidence-based care in both Arabic and English.
