Biography
Nadia Malik is a licensed counselor-in-training. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health with a specialization in Rehabilitation Counseling. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and Arabic Language and Culture. Nadia has gained clinical experience in a variety of settings in the Milwaukee area. These include inpatient care, partial hospitalization (PHP), and crisis resource centers (CRC).
In addition to her professional training, she is a dedicated student of Islamic knowledge. She has studied under Imam Ahmad Deeb and Ustadh Abass Darab at Pillars Seminary and holds a certification in Foundational Islamic Sciences and Arabic Language. She is also a student of Shaykh Rami Bleibel. Currently, she is pursuing a diploma in Islamic Psychology through Usul Academy. Nadia has nearly a decade of leadership experience serving the Muslim community. She has facilitated workshops on decolonial approaches to mental health, as well as suicide prevention and response. She has also educated medical students on culturally competent care for Muslim patients.
