Biography
Dr. Dilek McCombs is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Illinois. She holds a doctorate degree in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) and a master’s degree in clinical psychology (M.A.) from the Chicago campus of the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Dilek spent numerous years in residential settings, treating adults, children and adolescents suffering from severe emotional and behavioral disturbances. She also provided individual and group therapy for adults diagnosed with mood disorders and addiction. Additionally, she has experience in forensic work, evaluating and treating Unfit to Stand Trial (UST) and Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI) populations. She had several opportunities to supervise and train clinical staff and graduate students in residential treatment settings. Dr. Dilek currently works in private practice as well as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Rehabilitation Centers, treating adults and elderly with chronic mental illness, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, and Dementia. She provides psychological services in English and Turkish languages.
