Ayya Elzarka

Biography

Ayya is a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker in the Bay Area, California. She believes every human was created with an innate capacity to heal and that over the course of our lives, we can encounter challenges and accumulate experiences that distance us from that amazing capacity. While these obstacles can leave us with experiences of pain or suffering, it is through moving through them that we open the door for a deep transformation where we can come to know our true selves. Whether you feel overtaken by depression, anxiety, overwhelm, or trauma, this inner knowledge awaits as a path to healing.

Her approach is based in holistic understanding of a human, one that recognizes a human being is made up of not just their minds, but their heart and body and soul. She believes true healing and self knowledge becomes possible by engaging all these facets of ourselves. 

In working with her, you will work together to create space for parts of yourself you might typically push away and welcome any and all thoughts, emotions, or sensations that arise. She holds the belief that in doing so, we integrate our cognitive capacity with the intuition that lives in our bodies, to experience knowing within our hearts and souls.
