Biography
Faareha Kagzi is a Psychotherapist in the State of New York. She received her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from City College of New York and has experience providing counseling services for non- profit agencies and organizations. Faareha has facilitated workshops for students and parents on mental health awareness and personal growth as well as discuss and tackle issues of interpersonal, local, and national levels. She uses a client-centered approach to empower clients in improving their mental health and well-being. As a Muslim American of South Asian heritage and a first-generation child of immigrants, Faareha has first- hand experience of the struggles that many individuals and communities are facing today and is committed to contributing for positive change and impact. She is compassionate and culturally-competent in empowering clients to become self-efficient in achieving their goals and aspirations.
