Biography
Abdul Gani Dahman is an Associate Clinical Social Worker with a background in public health and social work. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego, and his Master’s degree from Arizona State University. Abdul Gani is also a certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor with specialized training in addressing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges. He uses a strengths-based, client-centered approach to support clients in identifying and achieving their therapeutic goals. Currently serving as a chaplain at the Santa Clara County Jails, Abdul Gani has also worked with the county’s mobile crisis team and across various hospital systems and levels of care, bringing a compassionate and integrative approach to his practice.
