Biography
Rama Atieh, Is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Illinois. Her passion to help others plays a big role in her life. She has over 15 years of experience serving the community and has broad extensive experience working in areas that include but not limited to advocacy work, community organizing, event coordinating, direct services, and case management particularly with refugees and Immigrants. She is also a volunteer and is currently serving as a board member and event coordinator for American Muslim for Palestine- AMP Chicago Chapter since 2017.
She has a special interest in working with women, couples, and teens. Her passion is empowering individuals by encouraging them to take an active role in reshaping their own lives. She believes that a safe space exists differently for everyone and wants to create a space that is unique for the individual where they can unload their burdens be authentic while feeling secure and free of stereotypes. She wants to provide the support, tools and resources people need to help them achieve their goals and help them become the best version of themselves.
