Amara Rafiq is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. She earned her Master of Science in Education in Counseling degree from Northern Illinois University. Additionally, she holds a Professional Educator License and currently works as a school counselor. Her work involves assisting students with their social-emotional, academic, and college/career goals.
Passionate about her work in the mental health field, Amara helps individuals manage their mental health concerns. She is experienced in conducting both individual and group counseling sessions on topics including anxiety, emotional regulation, and anger management.
