Marriage is a journey that involves effort, intentionality and commitment.
This 4-week course is designed to help couples improve, strengthen, and enhance the quality of their marriages. The Quranic analogy that describes spouses as garments for one another alludes to several aspects of marriage where spouses fulfill important functions for one another that will be unpackaged throughout the workshop. This analogy provides the foundation upon which this workshop has been constructed.
The course content is grounded within the Prophetic teachings and is informed by exploratory studies of happily married couples, anecdotal evidence from clinical experiences, clinical studies, and research backed methodologies proven to improve the quality of marriage. Each portion of the course includes information, tips and activities that can be utilized during the workshop as well as independently.
The goal of this workshop is for participants to gain both knowledge and skills on how to enhance their marriages. Through this workshop, participants will increase their appreciation of the sanctity of the marital bond as well as the role of service and self-improvement within this context.
