Khalil Center Toronto is hosting an exciting in-person event at the Khalil Center Toronto Office with Br. Hassam Munir, a known Islamic researcher and technical strategist. He will be delivering a short presentation on stories of resilience from Islamic History which will be followed by a community support circle facilitated by Khalil Center staff.

Hassam Munir is currently pursuing an MA in Mediterranean and Middle East History at the University of Toronto. He is the founder of iHistory, a public history project, and was recognized as an Emerging Historian at the 2017 Heritage Toronto Awards. He also has broad experience in the fields of journalism and public relations.
