This course is designed to guide parents—both old and new—through the enormous responsibility of parenting. Its specific focus is on the goals of parenting, highlighting problems and offering solutions, as well as outlining methods and preventative measures to develop and raise people of righteousness with high moral standards.

Human beings are created in the best of forms with the ability to reach full spiritual and intellectual potential. As such, raising a child demands theoretical and practical knowledge concerning the development of infants and children. Unfortunately, although we strive hard to accumulate wealth to have nice homes, cars, and furniture, we neglect to put the same effort into child rearing, hoping or assuming that things will turn out for the best without proper preparation. Parenting should not be left to chance, for the gamble is great and the stakes are high.
