Motherhood is an intrinsic ability, but it is often plagued with doubt. Am I doing this right? What is the Sunnah concerning these matters? How can I implement the time-tested values and morals I find important?
Darul Qasim is pleased to be hosting a holistic parenting workshop for mothers and mothers-to-be. This workshop is targeted at providing the information necessary to make more informed decisions regarding parenting.
The workshop will cover a myriad of topics, expounding on the emotional, moral, spiritual and social aspects of raising children in today’s context. The workshop will have plenty of time allotted to questions and answers to allow participants to ask pointed questions relating to their own personal struggles, from qualified female specialists, all within a safe space.
Dr. Sarah Syed is a post-doctoral psychologist, currently practicing at Khalil Center, and Ālimah Amina Lakhi is an Islamic scholar and instructor under the auspices of Shaykh Mohammed Amin Kholwadia at Darul Qasim.
This is a Women’s Holistic Parenting Workshop for adults only. Please keep children at home.
This workshop is for women only. Men will not be allowed to register/attend but are encouraged to pass the information on to females in their family so they can register. Girls in high school or above would also benefit from this workshop.
